Time to get serious here. I know we have been asking a lot from you guys with our annual fundraiser coming up. However, Abraham "ABE" has come into our rescue needing your help also. Many people set out to want to make a difference, but they feel they aren't important enough, have enough time, or simply that what they do doesn't matter. As a rescue, sometimes we are also faced with those circumstances. We try to help as many of these guys out there that we can, but just like you we can only do so much. There are times we walk the halls of the shelters and our hearts break watching the ones that we can not simply help. We are a small rescue and we rely on your help to be able to keep doing what we do. Abraham has obviously been in a good amount of pain with his eyes. Though he could not see the rescue workers when they walked up to him he could smell them. Nothing could hold him back from getting those "pets" and giving out kisses. Abe saw the vet today and along with having severe cherry eye he also has ulcers on his eyes. This sweet little guy has a long road ahead of him and to get there he needs a team on his side. Have you ever heard the story of the little boy walking the beach throwing starfish back in. A man walked up to him and said he could not possibly throw enough starfish back into the ocean to make a difference. The boy smiled and said, "Made a difference for THAT ONE!" So, while we can not save them all lets join up and make a difference for Abe!
